About the league
Built for corporate cricket talent
The Telangana Corporate Premier League (TCPL) is envisioned as a unique platform exclusively designed for employees working in corporate companies across different levels and sectors. The primary objective of the league is to identify and showcase the cricketing talent that exists among corporate employees and provide them with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of prominent personalities and the wider sporting community of Telangana.

Entry rules
Who can play?
Season IV of the Telangana Corporate Premier League is open to eligible male corporate employees under 45 as on 31 December 2026.
Clear criteria. No surprises.
Eligibility, documents & selection- 01
Age
Players must not have completed 45 years of age as on 31 December 2026. Eligible date of birth: 1 January 1982 onwards.

Corporate employment
The player must be a currently employed corporate employee and must upload a valid company ID card.

Gender
The league's Season IV format is open to male players only.

Documents
Date of birth proof (Aadhaar / Passport / DL / Birth Certificate or other valid government ID) and company ID card are required at registration.

Eligibility & Registration
Open to corporate employees working in corporate companies. Players must be 45 years or below as of 31 December 2026. Eligible participants register for TCPL Season IV by completing the registration process and paying the applicable registration fee.

Net Selection Trials & Open Selection Matches
All registered players are assigned dates and time slots for Net Selection Trials, held only on Saturdays and Sundays. A Cricket Expert Selection Committee evaluates players. Based on Net Selection performance, players are shortlisted and grouped into teams for Open Selection Matches. Final Season IV players are selected from Open Selection Match performance. Attendance is mandatory — absence makes a player ineligible and the registration fee is non-refundable.

Team Formation & League
Finally shortlisted players are divided into 16 teams competing in a League-cum-Knockout format. Team formation is carried out by the TCPL selection/management team based on the selection process.

League & Knockout Round
The 16 teams are divided into pools and play round-robin within their pool. The top-ranked team from each pool qualifies for the Knockout Stage, leading to the TCPL Season IV Final.
- Note 1: Players who have participated in the last three seasons will be selected directly based on existing performance statistics.
- Note 2: Each team's squad of 16 "probables" must include two Under-19 players under the "non-corporate" quota.
Attendance at your assigned selection session is mandatory. Absence makes you ineligible and the registration fee is non-refundable.

The inaugural season of the Telangana Corporate Premier League marked the beginning of a unique corporate cricket platform, providing employees from corporate organisations an opportunity to showcase their cricketing talent in a competitive T20 environment.
IITelangana Corporate Premier League Season 2
20 Teams2 February 2019 – 20 April 2019
The second season witnessed significant growth, with the number of participating teams increasing to 20, demonstrating the growing interest and participation of the corporate community in TCPL.

IIITelangana Corporate Premier League Season 3
16 Teams8 February 2020 – 14 March 2020 & 12 December 2020 – 20 December 2020
The third season was conducted in two phases due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting lockdown restrictions. Despite unprecedented disruption, TCPL successfully completed the season with 16 participating teams.
Demonstrated the resilience and commitment of the organisers and participating teams.
